Singing Meditation: Kirtan Night!

Kirtan is a practice that has spread in the way of yoga and meditation. In Kirtan, we use Sanskrit mantras, like prayers or the names of gods, that have very strong energies. We chant them while we meditate.

Let yourself fall into the pleasant harmonies of the repeated sounds, and the power of the mantras; before you know it, you’ll be meditating. Kirtan is said to be a easy way to meditate that anyone can practice. Come test out this unique feeling with the rest of us at our Kirtan Night!

Our meditation will be led by Nicole, who is well versed in meditation, yoga, and kirtan alike.

Date and Time: Dec 16th (Friday)7:00-8:30pm

Leader: Nicole (This event will be held in both English and Japanese)

Class Size: 8 seats

Partcipation fee: ¥1050 (Yogi Tea included)

Clothing: Please wear something that you can sit on the floor in.

Things to Bring: floor cushion and a blanket or shawl, if you think you will need them.
